Who are we?
Inter-tech Education is a company established by a South Australian teacher (Joanne Villis) who is committed to sharing interactive educational programs for smartboard and IWB teachers. These programs embrace society’s technological advances and the technological tools that students engage with daily. The SMART Board™ interactive whiteboard fosters the development of these smart technologies.
Our Customers
Inter-tech Education provides smartboard training and professional development days for teachers on technological methods of preparing and programming educational resources. Each session provides practical, visual and interactive ideas.
Teachers will engage in an interactive learning experience within a small group environment. All participants will have access to a computer, Notebook 10.7 software and Internet access. This will enable participants to take home samples of valuable, ready to use, smartboard classroom resources, a list of interactive web sites to support the curriculum and new skills and applications of smartboards.
Inter-tech Education and Smart board Technology
The SMART Board™ interactive whiteboard is usually mounted on a wall or a floor stand
and is used to bring interactivity to the learning environment. The key to this interactive
learning tool is touch; you simply touch the surface to select menus and icons, record
student’s ideas or manipulate objects and text. ITE educates teachers in how to cater for the kinaesthetic learner through touch, feeling and experiencing the materials enhanced by IWB Smart technologies.
The SMART Board™ interactive whiteboard also allows educators to cater for visual
learners through interactive diagrams and charts, large vibrant images, film, sound and video recording applications, all of which are incorporated into ITE Professional Development Days. Furthermore, educators can learn how to cater for auditory learners by viewing online educational websites; linking PowerPoint presentations and incorporating voice recordings to provide clear and repeated instructional tasks or information.
SMART Board™ interactive technology also provides educators with advanced teaching
resources and access to interactive, multimedia content through Notebook software. ITE can foster teacher’s creation of unique multi-paged interactive documents and presentations through Professional Development on the creation of sound enhanced lessons, linking websites, sound tracks, PowerPoint presentations or Excel spreadsheets, viewing digital images or flip camera recordings and scanning of documents.
With the SMART Board™ interactive whiteboard, and Inter-tech Education, teachers will save time and increase the motivation, engagement and enhance the learning environment for today’s students.
